In 2001 Warcraft 3 was born, and in the same year DotA for Warcraft 3 was created.ĭotA has its roots in “Aeon of Strife” a custom map for StarCraft. The main goal is to defeat the enemy and destroy the castle. 10 players join two teams and fight against each other in 5v5 fights. DotA is a Warcraft 3 custom map, playable in RoC and TFT.
DotA stands for Defense of the Ancients – a MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game.
